How do I get the money achievements? (The First is the Hardest, Personal Bailout, That's with a "T" & Nest Egg)

  • You get The First is the Hardest by depositing $1,000,000. That's one million, 6 zeroes. This one shouldn't take you too long, even if you're just starting out it'll be just a few days before you see your first million.
  • You get the Personal Bailout achievement by depositing $1,000,000,000 into the bank. That's one billion dollars, 9 zeroes!
  • That's with a "T" requires a deposit of $1 trillion. That's 12 zeroes. One trillion is one thousand billion or one hundred thousand million. Kinda makes you think about the US gov't deficit in a new light, huh?
  • Nest Egg requires a deposit of $10 trillion. That's 13 zeroes. As soon as I have that much money in Mafia Wars, I'll be sure to put a screenshot of how much room the number takes up on my stats bar!

Note that you must deposit each of these amounts as a lump sum. If you have $1bil in your bank account but had been depositing it little by little, you'll have to pull it out and put it back in ALL AT ONCE! You'll be losing 10% of it to the bank fee, but you can probably afford it at this point.

At the point you have over $1bil, you probably don't need to bother with banking anymore. The 10% you lose on laundering will be much more significant than the money lost all day long in fights. My advice is to let it ride until you've reached an achievement threshold.

 

 

(Actually as you can see above, I don't have quite enough money to confirm that the higher achievements require lump sum deposits, but I'm assuming so. I couldn't get Personal Bailout any other way when achievements were first released.)
