Mafia Sorting
You can sort your Mafia members by 5 categories with MW. Most experienced, Mafia Whacked, Hitlist Kills, Fights Won & Jobs Completed. This is very helpful in setting up the Top Mafia.
Go to MY MAFIA, click on TOP FAMILIES, click on any of the headers to sort. My top are now the best available percentages.

Assign your best mafia members to positions within your mafia. Each position has a unique bonus which can be greater depending on who gets promoted to that position. Check it out

This chart is GREAT! The only problem is that it prints out pretty crappy. Can you make a PDF that we could download so that we can print it out and keep it as a reference next to our computers.
I am going to try to write an Excel SS that will calculate all of the bonuses that your mafia will give you so that you can do some quick analysis on who to promote to your Top Mafia. I will let you know how it goes.

It'll be interesting to see what you do with Excel -- right now I'm guessing most people (who are aware of it) are using Bobby Heartrate's Download Mafia bookmarklet, then they sort & promote the people at the top.
The Spockholm TopMafia bookmarklet linked to in the article is also handy if you don't want to or can't use spreadsheet apps, and if you don't mind paging through your mafia in Mafia Wars looking for your highest %... My husband did make a Sortable Table mafia bookmarklet based off Bobby's that will let you sort right on the page, but it hasn't undergone extensive testing -- I just mention it on my Mafia Sort FAQ in case someone is curious enough to try it out.

Is there an easy way to search for people that would have the best stats? When you have alot of people clicking through the screens isn't the easiest. If you could extract to Excel that would be awesome then you could just sort them.

Thanks for catching that. We just switched from static images to actual html tables for the stats and my lovely husband/programmer typed in a few wonky things, that being one of them ;) But he did a good job otherwise! :D

This is great, however I do have one correction (I think) My wheelman is level 307 and I'm only getting a 10% bonus, not 11%. With my Buttonman at level 398 I get the 11% bonus for that. My bagman has 364 and I get the 15% Bonus, so it seems perhaps the info is just a little off for that 299 number, but still great info.

Repromote your Top Mafia periodically to update their bonus %
Thanks for commenting Meg!! I think you may need to demote your Wheelman and re-promote them. When people in your Top Mafia level up, their bonuses aren't automatically recalculated. You have to manually promote them again to take advantage of the higher %
If you repromote your level 307, you should see the 11% bonus instead of the 10% bonus you're seeing now :) I just checked a level 305 in my mafia, and he's 11% so your lvl 307 definitely should be.
